White Lye believes in providing luxurious handmade soap and natural bath luxuries that promote the pampering, fulfillment, and well-being of your body thorugh the use of natural and near natural elements.
How we care.
Enjoying the bliss of bath essentials and the enchantment of just how much nature has to offer us Char Simon, founder, unioned the two realms to establish White Lye. A company that believes that your skin deserves more than what commercial bath essentials have to offer.
Many store bought bath and body care products are no closer to real soap and cleansers than carpet shampoo. Our ingredients are the finest. We use natural and near natural ingredients in our line and when possible incorporate organic elements.
The methods we use.
All of the amenities you'll find on the site are handmade. We have a special place in our heart for lye soap, so you'll see a main focus on them. However, just as important we work with vegetable glycerin bases to offer visibly pleasing and fragrance filled glycerin soaps. They are the closes to pure you'll find and they allow us to expel our creative energy!
The bar soaps are made using 2 types of soapmaking methods.
*Cold Process Method - soap made using a modern variation on the old fashion way grandma used to make it. But, don't think this is your grandma's lye soap...the recipes are calculated, unique, and most of all unbeatable for your skin.
* Glycerin Bases - include the use of a pre-made glycerin base. The base soap comes to us already made and is the closes recipe available to made from scratch. The bases are, of course, all natural - no SLS or Parabens that are found in store bought detergent based soaps.

White Lye soaps are handmade. Each batch and bar of soap will have variations. Being handmade they do have minor imperfections from time to time. Please enjoy the site and feel free to contact me with any questions. White Lye's soaps are handmade in Greenwood, Arkansas.
